Frolicking Outside

I ran outside to play,

And what did I see?

A bossy blue jay,

Red butterflies three.

I tried to jump up to the sky,

Feeling funny and free.

I believe I can fly,

Like a yellow bee.

I like to tickle the flowers,

Swing this way and that.

Suddenly, a black cricket hits my nose,

And I am down – Ker splat.

Flowers, Fauna, Fulfillment

Peace can be found in nature’s tranquility.

When the birds are silent and soundless.

When the flora and fauna abide in harmony.

The forest is overflowing with calmness.

Overactive insects sense the amity.

Surround me with contemplative quietness.

Can I change my activity into passivity?

Can I be satiated with stillness?

I aspire to be soaked with serenity.

For more than one minute, can I be noiseless?

Will I ever be able to experience immobility?

Flower filled countryside, cloak me with coolness.

Blossom and Bloom

May I always bring joy to others.

Cause beautiful buds of love to form in their lives.

May I help them to blossom and bloom.

Observe their fantastic life flowering.

May my struggles teach them to overcome.

Strengthening them to bring happiness to everyone.

Nature, teach me daily to be a light.

Promote peace instead of strife.
